I enjoy cooking and food that tastes good when I was a kid I used to sit in front of the tv and watch Julia child. I really enjoyed her show a lot and sometimes there wasn’t anything on at all. My German roots says it all. I enjoy cooking food from different parts of the world. I am also a Muslim and keep a strict zabiha kitchen. I even grind my own masala which tastes better then the store bought that is already ground up and you don’t know how long it has been sitting on the shelf.
All of that work grinding in my mortar and pestle makes it all the more worth the while.
When I cook I don’t use a measuring cup or spoon I have them but they collect dust. I use a hand full of this and that and a pinch of this and that method. My paternal grandmother was like that too I think I had inherited it from her and yet I don’t remember her because she passed away when I was very young. I have one of my recipies in food.com under the nick shearbanno and I have a few in allrecipies.com under the brkhan name. I may post some here too. because I want to share my recipies with the world.
