Oh This is so yummy and crunchy when I eat these and they can be eaten with nearly any Asian dish. I had this with jasmine rice and fish cooked in Thai green curry. This combo is sweet. crunchy, spicy and chewy all in one. The jasmine rice makes it more tasty and the smell is so lovely just like basmati rice to me. The only rice that is good enough for this dish is jasmine rice and nothing more.
Add 1tsp each of peanut and sesame oils. Crush 1 slice of ginger after you peeled and washed it and 2 cloves of garlic and add it to a hot wok with the sesame and peanut oils.
Add 3 dashes of soy sauce and dark soy sauce each. Add 1 pinch each of white and black sesame seeds and stir until the sesame seeds are toasted. This is ready to be put over a bed of white jasmine rice.
