One day in the isle of my grocery store I came to a shelf and I stumbled on a bag of cassava fufu. I am posting the picture below.
This is what the bag looks like. Now the title picture above Is finished and I ate it with some pepper soup. and the picture on how I paired the two is getting posted at the end of post. The bag said stove top directions and however I did make it in to a paste and it tastes nearly the same as gari. I added 4 to 6 handfuls of cassava fufu to a microwave safe bowl and added 1/4 cup of water a little at a time so I can make this paste.
Now this paste after I made it and formed it in to a lump free ball I put it in the microwave uncovered for 2 minutes. When I took it out I added 1/4 cup of water and stirred it again using a little at a time and again making the ball form again and placed some cling film over the bowl and stuck it back in the microwave for another 2 minutes.
Here the steam is allowed to form and I took the film off and added my goat’s feet pepper soup I made earlier to go with this and heated it up for another 2 minutes.
This is great pepper soup fufu.
Here is the outcome of the finished product and my serving suggestion.
Enjoy
