As you are aware that fufu always works best for me when I do it in the microwave. Looooooool, it is the truth. I have tried the stove top methods and it sticks all over the pan and I got frustrated and started doing it in the microwave. This method works for me and I still do it.
I take 5 to 6 handfuls of amala flour and put it in a microwave safe bowl then add 1/2 cup of water a little at a time until I have either a soft paste or a slurry.
I put plastic film over the bowl and cook the amala in the microwave for 2 minutes. I lift up the wrap carefuly and I shape it in to a ball and cover it again and cook it for 2 minutes.
At this point it is eaten with any draw soup of choice. This is the best amala picture I have. The one I took a couple of days ago looked kind of messy and it is not a nice presntation so I didn’t post it. At least I am trying to work on my presentation.
