I really love to bake when it is cold outside but when hot weather comes I want to stay far out of the kitchen unless it is to make me a salad or a cool drink. It is when it is cold outside a nice warm kitchen to me is very inviting like it is for the next person.
First preheat the oven to 400 degrees F or 204 degrees C. I took out a bowel and mixed all of the dry ingredients first by mixing 2 handfuls of all purpose unbleached flour, 5 handfuls of whole wheat flour, 3 pinches of baking powder, 3 pinches of yeast, 2 pinches of eno which is fruit salt. You can buy eno at any Indian and Pakistani grocery store. It makes it light and airy. I added 1 pinch of pink salt and 2 pinches of turbinado sugar.
I added to nearly 1/2 cup of water and using it a little at a time until I have a dough made. I used 3 tbs of coconut oil and worked it in to the dough until it is elastic enough to pull away from the bowl. At times I use dalda ghee, olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil or corn oil for coating the dough too.
I cover the bowl with either lid or plastic wrap and let it rise for 30 to 45 minutes.
I take the dough form them in to balls and flatten them just a little bit and coat the cast iron skillet with cooking spray and add the newly formed bread rolls dough in the cast iron skillet and pop it in the oven for 20 minutes or until done.
The instant pot duo crisp method is placing parchment paper in the air fryer basket and placing the risen bread dough rolls and place the air fryer lid and press the bake button.
I ate this with ewa agyoin for dinner and I have to get back to you later with a new recipe.
Stay tuned!!!!!!
