Ok this one is just plain tuna salad. I know I have a tuna macaroni salad post in this blog but this one is eaten with crackers or as a sandwich on two pieces of whole wheat or other whole grain breads. There are many ways on to making tuna salad too and it depends on everyone’s preferance.
I have a picky eater so this recipe is loosly based on what we all like. The basic tuna salad recipe is 1 large can or 3 small cans of tuna in water drained, 1 pinch of black peppercorns ground with a mortar and pestle or 3 dashes of lemon pepper, 1 onion or shallot chopped, 3 tbs of mayonnaise and stir to combine.
The optional ingredients are 1 hard boiled egg, 1 dab of pickle relish since my picky eater loves pickle relish. I however hate the stuff but she loves it. Add 1 tsp of mustard, 1 pinch of dill weed, 1 dash of hot sauce or 1 green chili, these are on the side and therefore extras.
Here you are enjoy!!!!!!!!!! This also eaten on chapati so you can also make a wrap out of them too.
P.S. Also for a variation you can use either 1 can of salmon, mackerel, sprats, or sardines in place of tuna as you wish.
