Turkey gravy is one of the best homemade gravies around and it is very simple to make. This is an absolutly fool proof recipe so please come and follow me.
First you need turkey drippings and it starts with this recipe, Thanksgiving Turkey And cornbread Dressing With My Family. This is great for the hollidays and we just celebrated thanksgiving here in my house.
I turned on my frying skillet on high heat and added 1/4 cup of olive oil, 3 handfuls of all purpouse unbleached flour and 3 dashes of seasoned salt. I turned the flame down to medium and started to stir and kept stirring until my rouix started to change color and free from lumps.
I added the drippings from the turkey and stirred until it became thick. There is no further need to season the gravy because the turkey has been very well seasoned.
This can be eaten over baked or mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, biscuits and cornbread. Enjoy making this during the holidays. There is no need to let the drippings from your turkey go to waste.
