I remember when I was a kid when I lived in Addison, Illinois that there were two shopping centers on Lake St. One was called Green Meadows and then another was across the creek from what was then Luther Brook where I had spent a great bulk of my childhood. That one is called Lake Mill Plaza. The Green Meadows location had a great restuant. It had olive burger on the menu.
I was crazy about this type of burger and they made the best olive burgers. I haven’t had them in eons and wanted one terribly so I reached back very far in to my childhood to try to recreate this taste.
You would need 2 or more burger patties. It depends on who else is eating with you. If you are eating alone then 2 is sufficiant. In a frying pan or wok on high heat, place 1 frozen burger patty in there to fry. Season it with 3 dashes of either seasoned salt, vegtea seasoning or adobo, 3 drops of worchestershire sauce, 2 drops of olive juice. It is preferably green olives because it is more sour them black ones. If you want to use the black ones instead then this is ok too.
Keep flipping and searing every 2 minutes until the burger is well done. Remove and top with 3 or 4 olives sliced or crushed. You can slice with a knife but I prefer to mash with my fingers. Serve with condiments of choice also with cheese. Cheese is optional.
Serve also with your choice of fries or potato chips on the side or sides like potato salad and coleslaw.
