Preheat the oven at 375F or 190C and 1 squash cut in half and deseeded for this recipe. The reason why I gave it this title is because there is already a baked acorn squash recipe here on this very blog. You can use any type of winter squash exept the acorn squash that I have mentioned. There is a sweet and a savory version. Spray the roasting pan with cooking spray
The sweet verison is 1 pinch of grated nutmeg, 1 small cinnamon stick ground in mortar and pestle. 1 pinch each of either coconut sugar or turbindano sugar, 2 pats of butter.
The savory version is the same amount of nutmeg and cinnamon, 2 cloves of garlic crushed either 1 pinch of pink salt, seasoned salt or vegtea seasoning and the same amount of butter as the sweet version. Bake for 60 minutes at 30 minute intervals.
This is great for a day when it is cold. This is not hot weather food. Enjoy.
