I actually have a couple of posts where I am actually nuking potatoes but for some reason I am not wanting to zap a few spuds in the microwave at this time. This is not just only for instant pot but there are some other models that has the same function as the instant pot duo crisp and check your make and models for details.
Take 4 to 6 potatoes and make tiny cuts all over the the potatoes with a small pairing knife. If you use a bigger potato like an Idaho or even a russet then you may have to quarter them for ease of cooking. I used Yukon gold the Yukon reds is great too because they are tiny. Place it in a bowl that has a lid on it and add 1 tbs of oil of olive, corn, canola, sunflower, safflower, peanut, avocado, grapeseed, coconut, vegetable or almond.
Cover to shake to coat the potatoes or take your hands by making sure they are clean first and mix the oil with the potatoes. Place it in the fryer basket and set the air fryer lid to bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 375F.
Enjoy these with your favorite condiments and season them however you wish. This one is totally up to you but I can meerly suggest mixed herbs will be very nice along with butter also or adding ranch dressing, hot sauce or even vinegar along wth seasoned salt, black pepper, pink salt or kosher salt even. Also lemon pepper is great as well. Also this is a perfect side with a steak, a salad, even lamb or goat chops. Topped with sour cream or even plain yogurt which is a healthier choice is an absolute winner.
