Actually this is a very basic fried rice recipe and it has a few ingredients and it extremely yummy and it went great with my smoked mackerel I made to night.
- Plain Jasmine Rice Etc. Follow the instructions here please just to get you started.
- 3 eggs
- 1 bunch of green onions chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1 small piece of ginger peeled and chopped
- either 1/4 tsp of fish sauce, oyster sauce, shrimp paste, or crab paste
- 1 pinch of pink salt or bullion powder or 1 bullion cube
- 3 dashes of maggi or knorr aroma
- either 3 dashes of panzu, soy sauce or tamari
- either 1/4 cup of peanut, corn, canola or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp of sesame oil
After you boil the rice turn off the heat and let the rice sit until you after you do these steps. Add the oil then the sesame oil on top of it in a hot wok. Add the chopped green onions along with the ginger and garlic, the pink salt, I used panzu this time but you can add one of the others from the list. Same applies for the others that I have used shrimp paste but you can use any one of the others as well and that includes the aromatics too like either knorr or maggi the choice is yours.
Crack 3 eggs and scramble them up in the wok then add the cooked rice finally and keep stiring until combined with the scrambled egg mixture. The verdict is delicious it is great with fried fish and the flavors will not clash.
