Hello there I just want to let you know that I wanted to try to make something new and I most absolutely love it and my way of making this. is you can make any type of rice. First you will need this link here> Plain Jasmine Rice Etc. and the rest is just a piece of cake because it is such a very simple recipe. I felt terrible because I had a huge bag of both black and red jasmine rice that actually went bad and I had to throw it out. I have to buy new bags. The rest of my rice thank God is just fine.
Next are the vegetables which are julliennned 1 cup of the fresh such as baby carrots, zucchini, yellow squash, nappa cabbage, bok choy or frozen such as spinach, broccoli or cauliflower flowerettes. Add 3 tbs of sesame oil to the wok and to the rice which I cooked in the instant pot and I revised the recipe in the link^ look up for details ^ , add either 1 can of bean sprouts rinsed which is the last resort or fresh which is really prefered, either fresh or dried mushrooms of any type as well just make sure they are washed and if using dried just make sure they are soft and pliable before adding to the wok and 1 can of mushrooms which also is last resort which is drained and rinsed before adding to the wok.
Use your vegetables of choice. Obviously mine was mushrooms, bean sprouts and baby carrots jullienned, this is because this is what I had available. The bean sprouts started out fresh but I had so many when I bought them that I used one part and the other I put in a zip baggy and put in the freezer. The one that was in the zip baggy was the one I used because the other one I used that I didn’t chuck in the freezer was eaten at that time. Add 1 pinch each of pink salt and msg to both the contents in the wok and to the rice. Add 4 cloves of garlic, 1 small piece of ginger minced, 3 green onions chopped, 1 tsp of either rice vinegar or lychee vinegar, 1 tsp of soy sauce, tamari, panzu, dark soy sauce, Braggs liquid amonos or Braggs coconut aminos, stir fry until it is still slightly crunchy.
Add 1 small piece of daikon radish which is the only thing that gets added raw and it too is jullienned. Add this to rice and here you may want to stop here if you want your bibimbap to go vegan or if you want you can fry one egg to your liking because the orginal has 1 sunny side up egg with a runny yolk. Also It is your tummy and your taste budds and at times I do not like runny yolks either. Hell you can even add a scrambled egg if you want to. Add 1 handful of black white or both mixed sesame seeds and dry roast them then add to rice and it should be nice and toasty so it smells good enough to make you hungry.
Also you can add 1 can of zabiha halal lunchmeat or 1b or kg of either lamb, goat, chicken, veal or beef sliced and and fry it in sesame oil until it is a little brown or eat with canned fish of choice. The cooked egg too is also to the side to add to the mixed rice with veggies. Lay these options on to the rice in your bowl and add 1 small teaspoon of gochujang. This is a chili paste and can be found in Asian markets. Also mix this with your rice if you prefer after adding your toppings of choice here and I hope you will enjoy this.
