Ok what is ladade???? Ladade is very similar to Peshawari gosht but there is more like broth consistancy and Peshawari gosht is more dry. Gosht means meat in Urdu. I tried doing this as a pot in pot method but it was taking so damned long and I had to eat and wait a couple of hours later to check my blood sugar and I got very annoyed. I had a change of plans and it is strictly on sauté function on the instant pot. So just do the sauté functon only and ignore the other period. In the instant pot and the like add 1 oz of either olive oil, canola oil, corn oil or vegetable oil. Turn the sauté button on high and tap start. Make sure the condensation collector is on in the back because you do not want a wet counter.
Add 1 kg or 1 lb of either chicken, lamb or goat, 1 chopped tomato and 1 chopped green chili, 1 cup of water, 1 pinch of either pink salt, kosher salt or even sea salt. Please do not add the infused types to this dish. I used the Hawaiian black sea salt for this. There is the red variant too as well as the Celtic sea salt and French grey that is ok too. If you go to Amazon they have it. Cook this for 20 minutes Turn sauté by tapping again to low and hit start then add 4 more cups of water and let cook for another 20 minutes or until meat is throughly cooked. Be sure to place a tempered glass lid over the instant pot while cooking this,
Enjoy this with yogurt and a salad for my fellow diabetics and for non diabetics enjoy with naan
