I have told you stories already about my dysfunctional immediate family that I am more then happy to get the hell away from 🤬 and the heartbreaking woe that my oldest daughter is so hell bent on carrying this on. I really wish she would stop this mess I am tired already I have had more then enough. 😡😠This is another recipe from my pos immediate’s. This came from my grandfather this time when he was explaining how he made these things.
It is very much unwritten until I started this blog. I thank Allah for my great memory that I can retain everything I read and also things that was said to me many years after. At times it can be double edged sword when you are an abuse survivor. I guess I am using my blog after all just to mock those that have abused me.
A lot of my abusers are dead including my main abuser who also bit the dust. Trust me when I found out they died I did not shed a tear and why in the hell should I? 😡 Toba toba, this means God forgive me in both Urdu and Turkish. Just go away shaythan and leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡 Quit stealing my joy and leave my family alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡 Oh my God talking abut trials and tribulations, I am having more then enough of my share and I hate it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please Allah help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want my grandchildren to grow up to be totally unscathed from their selfish mother’s poison. It is the ugly poison that she learned from my main abuser who is the evil home wrecker. She should have stayed her distance but didn’t !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡
I added 2 handfuls of flour, 1 egg, 5 pinches of nido, it is a brand of full fat of powder milk I use. It is sold in every Indian and Pakistani grocery store. I added 3 tsp of vegetable oil and 1 to 2 cups of water. It should be enough to make a thin batter. Now a flinzel is a German crepe. The batter should also be lump free and smooth.
I rinsed out a small nonstick skillet. I use this type for making injera and dosas and you cook them in a similar manner except flinzel is cooked on both sides while dosas and injera is cooked on one side. I may post those recipes in the future.
Place the nonstick skillet on the stove after rinsing it out and let it heat up on high heat. Pick up the hot nonstick skillet and spray with cooking spray and with the ladle put it in the batter first then put a little at a time in the skillet. It should be thin not thick. After putting the batter in the skillet, swirl it around until the bottom of the pan is coated and put it back on the stove and let it cook. Place a lid over the skillet while the flinzel is cooking for 1 to 2 minutes. It depends on your stove too. Pick up the lid to see if it is dry on top and carefully take a spatula and loosen the sides of the crepe and flip it.
It should come off easily. After you flip it cook it on the other side for about 5 seconds and let it slip on to a plate. Repeat until all of the batter is used up.
Go ahead and enjoy them with fresh fruit or jam inside and roll it up and eat it. They even taste great with ginger marmalade.
Or you can get fancy by putting fruit and rolling them and putting chocolate sauce on them.
