I have found some spicy noodles that are of the Asian variety along with some other Asian counterparts and married it with some African ingedients. The verdict is delicious.
I had put 2 cups of water in a pot and put it on the stove to boil and added 1 tsp of red palm oil. I found a packet of spicy noodles and I want to warn you in advance unless if you like it super spicy to add 1 habenero or scotch bonnet with the seeds removed. The scotch bonnets and habeneros is the optional part and not really needed because the seasoning packet is pretty spicy on its own.
I added the seasoning packet that came with this package and put it in the boiling water followed by the noodles. I added 1 more cup of water because the noodles had to completly submerge. I cooked it until the noodles was soft. I had 1 can of mushrooms which is the kind you see in Oriental food stores. I opened the can and drained and rinsed them in a sieve and added it to the pot. I added 2 quail eggs, 1 pinch of crayfish and 3 dashes of maggi or knorr aroma.
I added 3 pinches of egusi seeds to my mortar and pestle and added 2 tsp of water to make a paste and added it to the top of the noodles and gave it a light mix and shut off the stove. Here you can add any type of canned fish you want. What I meant was 1 can of octopus/ or squid/ or sardines is ok too but my preference is titus sardines for this one.
Then you can take your spoon and dig in. Me however I really love it.
