This is an easy recipe done in the microwave. I felt like eating something that is quite grainy and at the same time make me full. I made it to go with my efo riro soup from the last post and I found it to be very yummy and healthy.
I added 1/2 cup of bulgar wheat to a microwave safe bowl and added 2 cups or enough water to cover the top of the bulgar and mixed it up then put a piece of plastic wrap over it and put it in the microwave for 2 minutes.
I took it out when the time was up and looked to see if there was any water remaining. I seen some water and placed the plastic wrap back over the bowl and again put it in the microwave for another 2 minutes.
The water dried up when I took it out for the second time and I spread this same plastic wrap that covered the bowl on my work tray and spooned all of the bulgar that is semi cooked on the plastic wrap and folded it until it covered all of the bulgar and formed it in to a ball and placed it back in the bowl and placed it back in the microwave for the 3rd time.
This time it held perfectly. I was really impressed and it tasted great. This can be eaten with any type of soup like afang, efo riro and idakang ikong.
