This fish recipe is a great one. This fish is well liked by everyone because it is a mild fish and easy to prepare. Some tilapias are imported from Thailand and others are farm raised. I used 1 packet of tilapia fillets for this one. My yougest daughter who I will start calling Miss Lady M. is a fussy eater but she knows what she likes. She only wanted just lemon pepper on hers which is ok and this is what she likes. I have a grill pan that I use on top of my stove. It is a stovetop one and they can be bought at Target and Walmart. I think Amazon has them too if you want to shop on line that is ok too. Now let’s go cook.
I heated the stovetop grill pan on high heat until it got very hot. I added 2 tsp of olive oil and coated the grill pan. Cooking spray can be used too. Take the hot grill pan off of the stove and spray it evenly and place it back on the stove for it to reheat. I used 1 packet of tilapia fillets only. I washed it and set it aside. I mashed 1 clove of garlic in my mortar and pestle and rubbed this all over the fish. You can use either 1 pinch of adobo, vegtea seasoning or seasoned salt. Do not use all of them at the same time. You can only use one of them. Add 1 pinch of lemon pepper and 1 drop of chili sauce and rub all over the fish. Now you can cook the fish on the grill pan turn the heat down to medium and cook the fish turning frequently until it is white and the grill marks appear. If you want you can make a nice green salad and place this on top.
Now your fish is ready to enjoy you can also eat it with pasta or rice too.
