I hate having insomnia. It just plain sucks.
I have been wanting for the longest to have a nice soothing cup of hot herbal tea that calms the nerves nicely so I can get some sleep.
There are other herbal teas that has the same properties such as hops, lavender, skullcap, valarian, etc….
Chamomile is more pleasant tasting and smelling too. I have some books on herbal remedies. Back To Eden is a great one and it is sitting on my bookshelf.
What you see is a tea egg sitting inside my cup and it is full of loose chamomile blossoms.
It comes in tea bag form too. all you have to do is either put the kettle on or put a cup of water in the microwave and turn on for 1 minute or wait for the kettle to whiste then pour the water in the cup.
Either put the loose chamomile flowers or chamomile tea bag in to the cup and let it steep.
Then you can add 1 tsp honey or agave nectar if you want it sweet. If you want it unsweetened like I did then that is ok too.
I am feeling groggy and relaxed now and I hope it works for you too.
