Oh my God!!!!! Who loves curly fries???? I have to say we all do, right? I have broken out my spiralizer for the second time after my youngest daughter complained to me that it is sitting there collecting dust. She wanted curly fries to go along with her baked chicken. I said ok. It is anything to make this young lady happy.
Alright I have taken between 4 to 8 potatoes for this recipe. I attached the curly fry attachment on my spiralizer. I washed and cut the ends off of my potatoes and proceeded to make the curly fries. After this I placed them in a bowl until all of the potatoes I used are all done in this manner.
I added 1/4 cup of corn or canola oil to a hot cast iron skillet. I have added these curly fries at a time and cooked them until they were golden and tender. Remove from the hot oil and place them in a bowl or plate lined with paper towel to drain.
Here you can season them as you wish. Or you can put your choice of vinegar, hot pepper sauce, ketchup, add a slice of cheese that you prefer. Cover with plastic wrap and place in microwave until it melts about 15 seconds. Adding barbecue sauce is another option too. The seasonings that is recommended are adding a pinch of either chat masala, red chili powder, vegtea seasoning, adobo, seasoned salt or bullion powder, if you do not have bullion powder just crush a bullion cube and sprinkle this on to the fries.
This is enjoyed also with hot dogs, burgers and other types of sandwiches.
