I want to post a classic post that we all enjoy when it gets hot outside because it is very refressing. In other cultures it is also classified as a sherbat such as in India and Pakistan. It is even suited for when you are opening Ramadan otherwise known as having Iftar during the summer months when Ramadan falls in the months when it is extremely hot.
In Pakistan the lemons are the size of grapes while here in USA the lemons are bigger. They are the size of a tennis ball here.
Squeeze between 10 to 15 lemons in to a pitcher or add 1/4 cup of concentrated lemon juice which is unsweetened and found in the grocery isles in the stores with the brand of Real Lemon etc. Add 1/4 cup of either turbinado sugar agave necter or honey then add 1/2 gallon or 2 liters of cold water in to a pitcher and stir.
Put inside the refidgerator to chill. This would take at least 2 hours so please be patient. Serve it on the rocks which is slang for ice cubes wich is optional. The way you go about it is fill your glass with ice then pour your lemonade and also garnish with a sprig of mint or even a piece of fruit which is purely optional and still just as refreshing. Enjoy.
