I want to say happy New Years to everyone. I am also writing out a brand new post on a brand new mac air laptop in a brand new new years. Mr. Riaz was not feeling so chipper because he has a nasty cold. It hit him hard so I made him some yakhni and he was very happy to eat it then go and rest. He also did not want the leftover yakhni so I turned it in to another meal again.
Add 1 cup of frozen veggies of choice in to the yakhni itself after you turn the heat on high. This is purely optional. Add 3 cups of cous cous which is Moroccan pasta and let boil until it gets dry and garnish with a pinch of mint. It can be either fresh or even dried.
Enjoy! P.S. If you just have meat leftover and hardly any yakhni left, add 8 cups of water,1 bullion cube crushed and 3 dashes of maggi or knorr aroma. Let it cook until couscous absorbs the liquid then shut off the heat and let sit on the dum for 15 minutes after sprinkling the mint and serve.
