Heys folks I just want to tell you the last time ever I have had cream of tomato soup was out of a can and however nothing beats the taste of homemade soup. The last time I have had some ever is when I was a kid and it is usually paired with a sandwich. It pairs with any type of a sandwich very well except a PB&J AKA PBJ which are accronyms for peanutbutter and jelly. The best sandwiches to pair with this wonderful soup are grilled cheese, tuna, chicken or turkey salad sandwiches, roast beef. corned beef, egg salad, zabiha halal coldcuts with cheese on your choice of bread and condiments will go nicely.
To make the soup you will need 1 standard coldero on high heat and add 1/4 cup of oil of choice such as corn, canola, vegetable, peanut, grapeseed, sunflower, safflower, avocado or olive. Chop 1 onion or shallot, 3 cloves of garlic. Cook until rawness goes away. Here you can either use 1/4 cup of Aguason farms tomato powder or 1 large can of peeled tomatoes, 2 cups of water. Add 1 handful each of Hoosier Hill heavy cream powder and nido or add 1/4 cup each of whole milk and either half and half or heavy cream. There are several ways to add a little heat to this soup if you wish, 1 drop of hot sauce, 1 pinch of chili flavored sea salt or 1 pinch of red chili powder. Turn the heat down to low and keep stirring.
If do not want it spicy then just add either 1 pinch of kosher salt, pink salt, vegtea seasoning, seasoned salt, goya seasonador, smoked sea salt, adobo, or 1 bullion cube for saltier options without the heat. Add either 1 pinch of turbindano sugar or coconut sugar to cut the acid in the tomatoes. In mortar and pestle add 1 pinch each of green, white, black and pink peppercorns and grind in to a coarse powder then add to soup. Add 3 each drops of Worchestershire sauce and maggi or knorr aroma.
There are 2 herb blends of choice that I recomend which are either 1 pinch each of either rosemary, thyme,basil and oregano or another combination is highly sugestable which are 1 pinch each of chives. chirvel, dill, savory and lovage. From here turn off the heat and use the immersion blender on low speed being very careful not to splash and the soup should look very creamy and bright red looking. Make sure you grab a pot holder and hold the pot and make sure it is all blended nicely. Another thing which will be amazing with this. are salads too. Please let me know right in the comments about how you love the recipe. I hope I am not the only one thinking this is pure comfort food. At the same time my nephrologist have me a dire warning. For anyone having the same problem I had just be sure that there is more then 3 or 4 people eating with you either that after the soup is cool then place it in to bowls with sealable lids you can place in the freezer and take one down and eat this sparingly this is the only way this soup won’t go bad if you are alone.
