Ok I let the cat out of the bag at the last post. This is exactly what I did with the boiled chicken right out of the pot. However if I made the egg drop soup in the instant pot and not. on stovetop then This post would not even be possible. First you boil the chicken so you can have enough chicken broth for both hot and sour soup or egg drop soup if you wish.
In a bowl add to the cooked pieces of chicken meat Add something sweet like 4 tbs of either honey, blackstrap molasses, rice syrup or agave nectar, add 1 tsp of either Chinese black vinegar, rice vinegar or lychee vinegar, 1 tsp of either soy, dark soy, panzu or tamari, 1, tsp of sesame oil, 1 tsp of sriacha, 3 tbs of either arrow root starch or cornstarch and mix and give it a nice coating. All of this will stick to the chicken very nicely.
Place a silpat that is small enogh to go inside the air fryer basket either that or parchment paper. Silpat is what I used. Place the coated chicken inside and set to air fry after you place the air fry lid on top. Air fry at 345F or 190C for 10 minutes.
Actually I had one piece and Mr. Riaz just demolished this. Actually this is another amazing original dish done by yours truly and it is simply amazing. I really didn’t have to season it a lot because it was preseasoned already from making the soup stock from my last post. If you want the link here it is and I will throw my.
