Actually I have done a couple green masala posts on this blog like the briyani and the keema with potatoes and other vegetables can be used also in this recipe just like these two, but there is also a fish in a green curry too. First Green Masala has to be made for this dish.
This is a very simple recipe and easy to follow. Once you have the green masala ready all you have to do is add 1/4 cup of either olive, canola, corn, vegetable, peanut, grapeseed, sunflower, safflower, flax seed, almond, macadamia nut or coconut oil or you can add 3 tbs of butter ghee. Turn your multi functional cooker on to saute function and add the oil or ghee first then add your protien of choice you are going to use.
It can be either 1 lb or kg of beef, lamb, goat, veal, turkey, chicken, quail, cornish hen or even rabbit. Add either 1 pinch of pink salt, sea salt or even kosher salt. Add 1 pinch each of meat tenderizer, turmeric. Press cancel to switch modes to slow cook and tap the button to toggle between either high or low at least on an instant pot which I use. Slow cook for up to 4 hours.
You may do this too on stovetop too on very low flame but to me it is even tastier when it is in an instant pot. You can enjoy this with brown rice or even chapati made from chaki atta which is whole wheat flour without white flour used in there.
Actually I am going to do a green masla dish involving kidneys, hearts, and livers one day so please stay tuned.
