Heys folks I have started using Mrs, Dash again after so many years. I have used it before and I had ran out and did not buy any for a long time yet. There is a Flavormate too which is just like Mrs. Dash and the Mrs, Dash I have used in this recipe.
I made this before on skewers on a rack that goes inside the instant pot. When I made it then, I didn’t even make a post of this at all and it turned out yummy. This time I cooked it on my grill because I had a taste for some food cooked on a grill. I had made anticucho which are hearts on a stick and there is an earlier post of this yummy treat.
Mr. Riaz also liked the grilled eggplant too. Actually I have chosen Mrs. Dash for a reason because I wanted to keep it simple as possible. I used 4 shakes of this and other Types of seasoning can be used too like sea salt, kosher salt, pink salt, vegtea seasoning, bullion, seasoned salt, adobo, goya seasonador, can be used sparingly about a pinch worth.
If you are not using Mrs. Dash then you can add 1 pinch of peppercorns of any color to mortar and pestle and crush in to a coarse powder and add herbs of your choosing. Also you can add 1 drop of hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, 3 dashes of maggi or knorr aroma, 1 tsp each of vinegar and oil, 1 clove of garlic crushed, 1 onion or shallot cut in to quarters and the layers seperated, 5 pieces of sundried tomato.
Add perfered seasoning, oil, vinegar plus put these on a skewer. In an instant pot you can put them on a skewer and place them in a rack that it came in. Amazon has it just type skewers for use in instant pot. Add 1 cup of water to inner lining and place the air fry lid on top and select broil at 400F or 15 to 20 minutes, Repeat until it is done.
I did this too on my electric grill with setting at 4. I put a sheet of aluminum foil down and sprayed with cooking spray, placed the eggplant, ect. on skewers and cooked them at intervals of 10 minutes until they are done, The oil that is used is either olive, corn, canola, sunflower, safflower, coconut, almond, flax seed, macadamia nut, avocado or almond. The vinegar used is either balsamic, white, apple cider or cane vinegar.
Enjoy this with whatever protien you are having for either lunch or dinner.
