Can you do me a favor please? Start investing your time in the kitchen and get nice cookware and go and start cooking for yourself for a change and not go to a fast food place and spend large sums of money and you won’t even get full at all.
Buying cast Iron skillets, nice dishes, silverware and other pots and pans and a wok is not spending money on a king’s ransom like going to a fast food place or any other type of restaurant and risk getting sick is a king’s ransom and then some indeed.
Target and Walmart has great prices on these things. Ok what if you are hungry and the places are closed and worse yet if there is a bad storm outside and you can’t go nowhere plus having no food in the house means you are screwed.
I keep a well stocked cupboard and fridge, I have plenty to eat and drink, I have my gadgets and everything else that I want to make here in my house. It doesn’t hurt anything at all. These dishes are very tasty and I really love these a lot .
Ok for vegans I got you covered I am not going to ignore you. the fries can be eaten with veggie burgers even with my spicy lentil burger recipe.
I cut 4 red potatoes as you see here after I washed them very good. You can use any type of potato you wish. I love keeping the skin on the potato while making these home made fries. I just seasoned them after I put 1/4 of a cup of peanut oil in a cast iron skillet. you can also use vegetable oil in place of peanut oil for those with peanut allergies.
I used 1 pinch of black pepper corns that I ground up in my mortar and pestle, 1 pinch of pink salt, which can be bought at any Pakistani grocery store, and 1 pinch of dill weed.
You can sprinkle also veagtea seasoning, adobo, seasoned salt, lemon pepper and red chili powder on the potatoes before you cook them just for variety.
I fry them in batches until they are golden brown and tender. While frying with a cast iron skillet things heat up very fast and it is advisable to do this on low to medium heat.
When done take them out of the skillet and lay them on a plate with a paper towel to absorb more grease. Repeat until they are all fried up.

Now It is time for the good part, lol. Like the Wendy’s commercial used to say back in the day, Where’s the beef? Lmao, 😀 everyone was cracking up when that commercial came on including me and it was the but of a lot of jokes back in the day.
We folks from the old school remember this all too well. Ok I have used halal beef patties for this. It depends on how many people you have to feed and there was 8 in a box and between Mr. Riaz and me we wanted 2 a piece.
I was pooped and did not feel like making rolls and I could have so some whole wheat sandwich thins did nicely. If you want to make your own patties take 1 kilo or 1 lb of ground beef, chicken, turkey, lamb or veal then add 1 handful of panko and 1 raw egg for binding. Some people add salad dressing to their burgers like golden Caesar’s or Italian. That is ok but I prefer to add malt or balsamic vinegar to mine and mix it up and form patties.
It is like if you are making a kabab and they can be cooked on top of a stove in a grill pan or cast iron skillet or outside on a barbeque grill on a nice day. Even barbecue sauce can be added to the burger too near the end of cooking. I cooked the burgers in my cast iron and added 3 dashes of malt vinegar. Worcestershire sauce can also be added to give burgers a very yummy taste. A slice of cheese can be added to the burger for cheese burger option if you want and it doesn’t matter what type of cheese it is. The same type gets boring after a while. Just let the slice of cheese melt on the patty and remove and put on the plate.
Provolone, Swiss, Monterey jack, Colby, Pepper jack, American, Cheddar and its variants, Mozzerella , etc. the possibilities are endless here.
I kept flipping and pressing otherwise called searing to make sure the burgers are nice and cooked on the inside of the patty. After I finished cooking them they went on a plate too that was covered with paper towel to absorb the grease. 3 dashes of either seasoned salt, adobo, 1 pinch of vegtea seasoning, red chili powder, black pepper can also be used while making these burgers.
The toppings of choice I wanted on my burger as you can see are tomato avocado and onion that were sliced. Pickles, the different variants of lettuce are usually the norm but fresh spinach, alfalfa sprouts, mushrooms and olives are also possible options for burger toppings.
The condiments are mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, pickles, Manzano pepper sauce or any other type of hot sauce would do and so would siracha.
So please bare with me I hope I didn’t leave anyone out.
