Hey folks, it has been a while but I really wasn’t myself. I lost 2 people close to me and it really took the wind out of my sails. My heart was not in to getting on to my computer to even blog nor even to play runescape. However I have been catching up on my sleep and giving my body some much needed rest.
There are two types of mushrooms for this recipe only and it is a lb or kg of either cremini or white button mushrooms. Wash and slice them and set it aside. In a wok or cast iron skillet add 1 oz of either olive, corn, safflower, sunflower, avocado, grapeseed, canola, peanut,macadamia nut, flaxseed or vegetable oil.
Add 1 onion or shallot cut in to half moon slices, 2 cloves of garlic minced and the mushrooms and sautè them until the onions turn translucent. Add 1 pinch of salt of your choosing such as sea salt, pink salt, kosher salt, vegtea seasoning, seasoned salt, adobo, goya seasonador, bullion. If you are using the smoked flavored sea salt then omit the 3 dashes of liquid smoke. Add 1 pinch of herb of choice and it is whatever you have on hand. Add 3 dashes of balsamic vinegar and maggi or knorr aroma.
Pair this with burgers that is veggie or otherwise and it is a hit. Oh and beyond meat has a lovely selection of veggie sausage that will work wonders too. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
