I had taken some whiting fillets and cut it in to 3 pieces and seasoned it with baharat or bokharat seasoning, bullion cube, 3 dashes of maggi or knoor aroma and 2 clovers of garlic.
I mixed and took 1/4 cup of vegetable oil and added it to my wok. While I was waiting for the oil to heat up I took 2 handfuls of rice flour and 1/8 cup of water and made a batter and dipped the seasoned whiting in to the rice flour batter and fried until my whiting was golden brown and the fish was done. You can tell when the fish is done is when it starts to turn white on the inside and start being flaky.
