Mr. Riaz and I went to the store and he said he wanted these smelts. I said ok and I bought them and then I had an idea what to do with them. Actually Indians and Pakistanis is going to call this pakora.
I made a batter with 1/4 cup of besan (chickpea flour), 1 bullion cube, 2 dashes of maggi knorr aroma, 1 pinch each of red chili powder and paprika, 1 clove of garlic, 1/4 cup to 1/2 of water a little using a little at a time until I have a nice batter.
I made sure my wok is clean and added 1/4 cup of vegetable oil and let it get hot then added the fish I washed to the batter and mixed it in the batter and dropped 3 at a time until every fish was cooked and the batter all used up.
I made sure they was nice and golden brown and drained them on a plate lined with paper towel. Also these are a hit.
