First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR and HAPPY 2020. No I am not making New Years resolutions and why should I? To me it is very pointless because one year I resolved to keep my temper under control which is impossible. People that know me very well would take bets to see if I can keep it.
This one blew up in my face big time so my resolution is never again to make any. However this is the first post of the new year and I hope you like it. Obviously I thought I was going to get spoiled tonight and let out of the kitchen but Mr. Riaz said it is tomarrow which is a misunderstanding. This came out of a spur of the moment and a zabhiha halal sausages got split both ways to our satisfaction.
He had 2 for sandwiches and I had the rest wich was 3 for noodles so we both are happy. In a small pot boil the sausages for 10 minutes then take out and reserve the water from the sausages.
Add 3 tbs of oil of palm, olive, coconut, peanut, sunflower, safflower, corn or canola. Let it turn hot on high heat. Cut either 1 onion or shallot or 4 green onions and stir until it turns brown. Take the 3 sausages that is boiled and slice them in bite size pieces and add to the pot. Add 3 dashes of maggi or knorr aroma, 1 pinch each of crayfish, thyme, either sentleaf or basil, and only if noodles are not spicy to give it a kick use 1 pinch of either red chili powder or African yellow chili powder.
Stir and add the sausage water. Alternatively you can grill the sausages and use water instead of boiling sausages and using sausage water, 1 packet of noodles and noodle seasoning and cook until the noodles turn soft then turn heat off and let sit 10 minutes.
Enjoy with moin moin and non alcoholic brew.
