Howdy {in my my Minnie Pearl voice}, I want to address I have made already whole weat rolls and raisin bread so this is pretty much nixed from this recipe. I am going to tackle on how to make other types of bread here on this post and however sourdough is a little bit different and I will tackle that soon in another post because it is a total recipe all together and I do not want ya’ll to get confused.
- 1st turn regular oven on to 375F or 190C also there is an instant pot and the like method
- 1 cup of all purpose unbleached flour and or flour of either rye or whole wheat
- either 1/4 cup cooking oils of olive, corn, canola, peanut, sunflower, safflower, vegetable, grapeseed, avocado, flax seed, macadamia or almond
- either seeds of poppy or sesame that are white or black, flax or caraway seeds The caraway seeds is used for rye only and the other go on other types of bread.
- 2 tbs of yeast
- 1 pinch each of pink salt and turbidano sugar
- 2 cups of either seltzer water or club soda at room tempreture
First add to a large mixing bowl add the yeast, turbidano sugar and pink salt. Add a little of the room temp club soda or even selzer water then stir and cover for 5 minutes to. activate the yeast, Add the all purpous unbleached flour and or either rye or whole wheat depending on what type of bread that you are making. If making white beead then inceease the all purpose unbleached flower to 2 cups. Mix and add a little at a time until you have a nice dough. You do not want batter consistancy because this is not injera.
After the dough is made add the oil on top of the bread and if rye is used add the caraway seeds and mix right in, You may want to either form bread rolls or perhaps bread loaves and sprinkle with your choice of seeds such as for white or even whole wheat you use either white, black or the combo of the two colors of sesame seeds. This is the same if you are going to add poppy seeds or you can add flax seeds on top as well.
Spray baking pans with cooking spray and add the bread and bake for 30 minutes and it is absolutly same amount of time in the instant pot and the like with the air fryer lid attached and select bake plus the time you are going to bake the bread for. I had the small loaf pans and another baking dish on a trivet for the pot in pot type method of cooking in the instant pot. type of cooking. Actually never operate the instant pot and the like without the inner lining, I added the trivet first then I added the baking dish at the bottom and the disk on top of that and placed the two mini loaf pans with more bread dough on top and selected bake the temp and the time then pressed the on button and let it bake for the same amount as oven time.
Also you can form this in to a round loaf as well and open the top of it to be used as a bread bowls. This is absolutly perfect for homemade soups of your choice. Also you can use half of the mini rolls too for bunny chow just like the whole wheat rolls from another blog post. It can be eaten hot with a nice pat of butter smeard alone or perhaps some marmite or vegemite in your area if available and also a smear of cream cheese is an excelent choice too. Here is the bread and I hope you will enjoy it very much. Also it is made with much love. Duces!!!!!!!!!
