Ube African Pear

Oh My God!!!! I am totally obsessed with this fruit. I found them at Cermak Foods near me here in Chicago. I thank Allah for my adventurous taste buds.

Now let me decribe it for you it is sour, buttery, a little bitter along with a little sweet plus a little bit of spice such as cloves, nutmeg, mace and allspice in aftertaste and flat out amazing. I would see these on my Instagram feeds by African bloggers who are my teachers that I also see as friends.

Now they would grill them and eat it with roasted corn and a piece of fresh coconut. For now I used 1 tsp of any cooking oil of choice. My choice this time was coconut oil so I grilled it on my grill pan on stovetop until I seen lines on them then placed in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute. When I seen these I snapped them up and bought 3 bags. Yes I went totally nuts but I really love them. Cheers!!!!!!

The list goes on etc. and of course I love latamore and luther vandros, the beatles, rolling stones and Yusef Islam is also one of the greatest voices and Allah blessed them all with such great talents.
