A Very Simple Non Desi Mince And vegetable Dish

Heys I took some meat out of the freezer thinking it is steak and after it thawed out I seen it was mince otherwise ground meat. I used 1 oz of avocado oil on high heat. You can use in its place olive, corn, canola, vegetable, sunflower, grapeseed, safflower, macadamia nut, hemp oil or flaxseed, peanut, walnut, 2 pats of butter or 1 tsp of butter ghee,

Take either 1 onion or shallot and you can add 2 cloves of garlic too if you want. Garlic is optional. This mince was beef that I took out but you can add either veal, lamb, turkey, chicken, goat mince in its place or use veggie crumbles.

Boka, Morningstar Farm, beyond meat are excellent and so are Auguson Farm’s dried veggie meat crumbles. The latter look on can for instructions and by the way Amazon and Walmart sells them. The rest can be bought anywhere.

I seasoned with 3 shakes of Mccormick smokehouse maple, 1 pinch each of pink salt and peppercorns of any color ground in mortar and pestle. Also there are others you can use around the house such as Adobo, bullion, 1 pinch of vegtea seasoning, seasoned salt, goya seasonador, sea salt, mrs dash, mixed herbs. or lemon pepper, 1 drop of hot sauce, liquid smoke, worcestershire sauce, malt, balsamic, white, apple cider, wine, or cane vinegar. Add an optional 1 dab of marmite for unami.

Add either 2 potatoes or sweet potatoes scrubbed and or peeled or 1 to 2 cups of either frozen or fresh vegetables of choice. The harder ones takes at least 50 minutes on stovetop on low heat or you can place this in an instant pot for 2 to 3 hours on slow cook setting. If doing this method be sure to use sautè function to brown the onions and the mince then select cancel then slow cook.

Serve with a slice of buttered bread or other carb of choice if not adding potatoes. Here fellow diabetics please proceed with caution here. Also have some coffee or tea to go with this dish.
