Two Different Types Of Tuna Casserole
Hey did you know there are two different types of tuna cassserole? One here has the cream of mushroom soup base and you will need this recipe here on the right> Cream Of Mushroom Soup My Way< and here it is in the middle of the direction arrows pointing in the opposite direction. The other Is tomato based and a can of tomatoes will do just nicely. Also you will need 1 large can or 3 small cans of tuna and it doesn’t matter if it is in the brine or oil because any will do at this point. Also they both require 1 bag of egg noodles cooked according to package directions. The cream of mushroom based casserole needs 1 bag of frozen peas while the tomato based one requires mixed vegetables.
There are other ingredients that comes in to play too and we will deal with it after the the noodles are done and set to the side. First take 1 large pot and fill it up with water. it has to be 1 gallon or 4 liters of water and set it on the stove to boil on high heat. Add 3 drops of just vegetable oil and 1 pinch of pink salt in the water and bring to a rapid boil. Add your bag of egg noodles and make sure they are submerged in to the salty and oily water. This will keep the noodles from sticking. Cook for 15 minutes and drain in a colander. Careful because it is hot and you will get an instant steam facial. Rinse the cooked noodles and take out a medium roasting pan and spray with cooking spray, add the noodles there and arrange to make sure it is even. Add my cream of mushroom soup, 1 bag of frozen peas, the required tuna and season with either one onion or shallot minced. 3 cloves of garlic minced. Add either 3 shakes of seasoned salt, or 1 pinch of pink salt, vegtea seasoning, kosher salt, or sea salt, here you can use the infused type for, the two differnet types of tuna casserole to jazz it up. You can add 1 drop of hot sauce to to give it a kick.
Add 1 pinch of peppercorns in a mortar and pestle to grind in to a coarse powder and add to this casserole that is in near completion. Stir until everything is combined and most will stick it in the oven as it is but however I want to put cheese on the top to make it more amazing. For me a casserole of any kind has to have cheese so any type of white cheese will be great. It gives the casserole a great flavor too. Also add 1 pinch each of marjarom, parsley, thyme and rosemary and 3 shakes of mrs dash and lemon pepper can get added too. Give it a final mix and place some more cheese on top. You can add provalone, Swiss, mozzerella, white vegan cheese like dayia Swiss or provolone type, white cheddar, parmasean, romano, fontina, provalone, munster, Mexican melting, Mexican crumbling, edam, gouda or even bree. This completes the first type of tuna casserole which is the creamy type.
The tomato based one goes this: spray the roasting pan with cooking spray and add the noodles. Add 1 can of tomatoes. I knew someone who added stew tomatoes instead and I hate even thinking about her for all the vile stuff she did to my mom me and my oldest daughter and I mean she did a job but disregard the damned stewd tomatoes part unless you really want it. I still think that even though she is gone that she still is a bitch. I still can’t get over what she did to me but enough of her for right now and shame on my dad for allowing these things to happen. I like cans of whole tomatoes instead and you can squeeze them to break up as soon as they tumble out of the can along with the juice in to the noodles.
Next add your onion or shallot with garlic like you did the creamy type and add whichever type of seasoning you wish including the lemon pepper and mrs dash if you wish. Mix and add 1/2 bag of mixed vegetables to this one, the ground peppercorns and the tuna mix again by gently folding it in to with the noodles and add this time any type of cheese you like including the vegan cheese too. Pop either one of these in to the oven at 375F or 190C for 15 minutes until the cheese itself is bubbly and melted. For me being diabetic I have to eat at least 2 serving spoons of this and I would only eat it if my sugar levels are under 100 to keep my levels from going under. It is not something I will entertain eating if my glucose levels are over 100 so I am keeping an eye on mine at all times and I have to. I hope everyone will enjoy this. When I make the tomato based tuna casserole again Inshallah I will post it here on this page as an offset under the profile image.
