Seitan Black Forest Bacon

I have tried this recipe a long time ago and I am trying to figure out how to recreate this again. Alright I have an idea how to do this now. Add 1 cup each of Bob’s red mill gluten and whole wheat flour. 2 pinches each of vegan bullion powder or 1 vegan bullion cube, or you can add equal amounts of vegtea seasoning. Add 2 pinches each of paprika, nurituinal yeast, dried mustard powder, 3 shakes of smoked sea salt or 3 dashes of liquid smoke, 2 garlic cloves crushed, 1 pinch of red chili powder, 1 pinch of peppercorns in mortar and pestle grind and add to this mixture. Add 1/4 cup of water and mix using a little bit at a time until it becomes a dough. After you get this dough made then add 1 oz cup of either corn, canola or vegetable oil.

Knead for 5 minutes and then make the glaze as follows. Add 1 oz each of agave nectar, blackstrap molasses and maple syrup, grind 1 pinch of black peppercorns and mix with this mixture and set aside. Take the dough and form it in to a log and place it in a foil lined baking utinsel sprayed with cooking spray. Pour the glaze over this dough and seal the foil around it and pop it in to an oven at 400F or 200C for 35 minutes. Open it to check and see if it is done and then bake it for 10 more minutes. You can slice it from here and spray the wok with cooking spray and cut in to slices and fry on both sides until crispy if so desired or eat just as it is.

The list goes on etc. and of course I love latamore and luther vandros, the beatles, rolling stones and Yusef Islam is also one of the greatest voices and Allah blessed them all with such great talents.
