Cod Liver Pate

Hey guys when I tried this cod liver pate and the Idea where I got from this site actually I do not think exists anymore. This was a real long time ago but this picture is worth the mention and worth writing a recipe about. However all I remember that it was baked. Ok so hear it goes, take 1 cup of barley or even steel cut oats and pressure cook in 4 cups of water using the instant pot. Select pressure cook for 15 minutes. Make sure the cooker is set to sealing and press start. Place steam diverter and tap quick release. After pressure is gone open the cooker and test to see if either the barley or even the steal cut oats are soft. If they are there is no need to repeat it but if there is a repeat is necessary.
Drain either the barley or steelcut oats and add to food processor. There is no need to save the water from this so it is ok to discard it. Add 3 cloves of garlic smashed to remove the peels and rough chopped and cut either 1 onion or shallot at the ends and cut in half to peel and rough chop this too and place in the food processor and grind until smooth. Now add 1 can of cod livers undrained. Yes you need the oil for flavor. And now add either 1 pinch of sea salt, kosher salt, pink salt, 3 pinches of vegtea seasoning, 1 bullion cube, also you can add the same amount of bullion powder as the vegtea seasoning, 1 raw egg, 3 dashes of seasoned salt, the hearbs added are 1 pinch each of rosemary, thyme, dill weed, chives, chervil, lovage and savory. Add 3 dashes of lemon pepper. Also you can add 3 dashes of mrs dash too. In a mortar and pestle add 1 pinch each of peppercorns, celery seed and grind in to a coarse powder and add this to the food processor and turn on to mix.
Take a bread loaf pan and line it with parchment paper and spray it with cooking spray. Bake in a preheated oven at 400F or 200C for 15 minutes. Also you can wash out the inner lining of your instant pot and dry it with a dish towel to make sure it is dry and then place the parchment paper inside the instant pot compatible baking dishes. Spray with cooking spray and add the cod liver mixture and scrape the sides of the bowl of the food processor until every bit of this mixture is in the baking pan. Place a trivet inside the instant pot itself for pot in pot method and place the air fryer lid on top and select bake at 400F for15 minutes. Stick a fork in there like if you are baking a cake to see if it is solid. If it is still a little mushy then bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove and let cool completly then place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving on either crackers or some homemade bread. Also serve with lemon wedges and sprigs of parsley for a garnish.
