Asperagus Subsi

I appologize that I have not been in here so often as of lately but I am trying to get back to some degree of normalacy as I can. I just recently lost my father as you probably either know or don’t know. He was the one who gave me his mother’s krautbrot recipe. It is here in this blog and it is an older blog post. It is called my grandmother’s krautbrot recipe. There were lots of times I did not get along with the old man and he loved my husband much more then me.
My husband was his most favorite son in law for a good reason because he knew he can be depened on. My dad was also a victim of elder abuse and I called the police countless times for them to check on him called a well-being check. Those pieces of inhuman rubbish did not win and lost big. They tried to deny me closure with my dad. We did not get along and he knows I held a grudge against him for what happened to me in my childhood. I will never forgive that evil witch that barged in uninvited and started this bullshit to begin with in the first place and I will say it again and again and again forevermore thank God she died before my dad that she did not outlive him,
I hope my oldest daughter reads this that I am saying that those two lowlifes do not like her that they hate her and I pray she will open her eyes and find out who they really are. My oldest daughter loves to feed in to people who hate me and as long as they hate me that they are her friends. I despise anyone who is like this. One of those pieces of rubbish slammed her against me when she was a baby against my back hard. She could have broken my baby’s back!!!!!! She also got insanely jealous of the close that someone gave to my daughter because her baby has out grown them clothes and could not fit those anymore.
Also they called my oldest child all sorts of racial epithets which is uncalled for. My heart is broken because my oldest child decides to associate with such garbage. I was given a number a referal by a dear friend to call to start therapy. I really need it at this point and this is what I am doing. I filled out the paperwork and sent it back in and now I am waiting. I want to tell you it is not shameful to go to therapy and no it does not mean you are koo koo. I am doing it for me so it would help me to heal and move on. Grief hurts a lot and you will not find support from people who do not understand it. They are very souless people indeed. It is best to go to someone as a support person who has gone through the same thing and can understand it.
Now to the recipe you will need to do this on high heat on stirfry method. Add 1 oz of either canola or olive oil and then on top of this add 1 tsp of either butter ghee, almond oil or mustard oil. In a mortar and pestle add 1 piece of broken amchur which is dried mango skin, 1 pinch each of peppercorns in any color, coriander seeds then set aside.
To the hot oil add 3 curry leaves, 1 pinch each of hing, mustard seeds, kalounji which are black seeds, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, add contents of mortar and pestle which is ground masala then add 1 small pieces of turmeric root if using and 1 small piece of ginger and grind and add to the masla in either the cast iron skillet or wok. If you are not using the turmeric root then add 1 pinch each of turmeric powder, red chili powder, pink salt and paprika. Add 3 cloves of garlic chopped and stir until fragrant.
Turn heat to low and take 1 to 2 bunches of asperagus that has been washed and first remove the woody bottoms and discard them or save them for making compost for those who are in to gardening. You will need the tender parts only and cut them in to 3 secontions and put them in the masala mixture. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes and serve with chapati. You can also enjoy this with kabab and lassi too. The spieces can be found at any Indian and Pakistani grocery store. The asperagus you can find at any produce market.
