Stuffed Winter Squash With Homemade Italian Sausage

I just want to let you know there are multible methods here that the sauces are made on stovetop and the squash is stuffed and placed in the oven to bake and I am going to now give you the links first to get them out of the way then the step by step instuctuions on how to make these.
Actually this is a very advanced recipe and very time consuming. You will need to do this on your day off so you have time to concentrate on how to make this yummy dish. You will need these links first. They are Smoked Italian Sausage Either Hot And Or Sweet, Marinara Sauce, Alfredo Sauce. If you do not want to smoke the Italian sausage then do not proceed to smoke it. Make either marinara or alfredo sauce if using.
Turn the oven on to 400F or 200C after you make your sauce of choice be it of either marinara or alfredo along with the Italian sausage depending on if you are going to smoke it or not by following these instructions on the links above.^^^^^ Depending on how big the winter squash is and it can be any type. Cut in half and remove the seeds and either save them to roast them in to a snack which is perfered or put in to the compost bin to make compost if this is your thing.
I know some of you like to do gardening. After they are cleaned and hollowed out then you can place either the smoked Italian sausage or use it raw and do not worry because it will cook anyway with the squash. You may want to add 3 dashes of liquid smoke to this if you are not using a smoker or a smoking box inside of a grill method. Bake this for 30 minutes. If you are using marinara or alfredo sauce then ladle it all over the top and around the sides then lay any type of Italian cheese on top of it if you are using marinara sauce only. It can be mozzerella. romano, parmasean, fontina, gorganzola or asiago. If using the alfredo sauce you are using then add 2 pieces of sundried tomato chopped or 1 slice of fresh tomato on top. You may want to add 3 tbs of olives and or capers on top of either one of these too if you wish. The olives and or capers are the optional ingredents. Place back in the oven and bake for another 30 minutes and the cheese on the one with the marinara sauce that is used should be all gooey.
For us diabetics we can enjoy some chickpea pasta that I usually buy which has a brand name of bonza and it is in a red box. You can also eat it just as it is too. The ingredients required for this yummy recipe is available everywhere. The types of pasta you can use are any type. Enjoy with a nice strong cup of coffee.
