Chicken Xacuti( Pronounced Shakooti)

Before we get started on this recipe for this post I want to adress a very important issue. It has been brought to my attention that Canada our nieghbor to the north has been going through some types of legisation like we have here in USA that will strip our rights away. Now in Canada there were some kind of bullshit anti streaming messures and it is going to criminalize something that is going to hurt a lot of people. Now here in USA lots of women are being placed in a trickbag since Roe vs Wade been overturned. It is done to control women by making them have children when they do not want to.
First of all if a woman has a misscarrige which is not her fault at all whatsoever then they want to put her in prison for something that is a complete act of God. We have to blame the damned shadow docket from the Supreme “Court for this bullshit. Besides our courts has become comprimised thanks to this bitch named Ginny Thomas. I think she should be arrested and placed in prison for treason. Her husband Clarance Thomas is also a disgrace and so are the liars and a rapist that is sitting on the bench all appointed by Douchebag Donnie.
This anti streaming measure in Canada is called C-11 which will hurt lots of Canadians because of the strict censorship and please kindly protest peacefully to stop this measure from taking place. This was brought to my attention by a Canadian blogger who is a friend of mine so I said I was going to bring attention to this. As for as our peeps here in USA, get a hold of your congress people and ask them to codify Roe vs Wade. They want to go after our other rights like our voting rights and marriage equality too which I find highly disgusting.
Enough said of this matter for now. In a mortar and pestle add 1 broken piece of kokum phool, 1 strand of mace, 1 broken piece of cinnamon stick, 1 broken piece of star anise, 1 black cardamom, 1 green cardamom, 3 cloves, grated nutmeg equivelent to a pinch, 1 round or long red chili, 1 pinch each of fennel seeds, black peppercorns, cumin seeds coriander seeds, poppy seeds, grind this in to a coarse powder and set aside.
On high heat place a pot on the burner and add 1/4 cup of either corn, canola or vegetable oil and let it get hot. Add 1 onion or shallot and fry until it turns brown. Add 2 cloves of garlic, 1 pinch each of pink salt, red chili powder, turmeric, ajwan, 1 marble sized piece of tamarind, 1 green chili, 4 pinches of either frozen unsweetened or desiccated coconut. Slightly roast in the spices, add 1 tomato diced and cook until mushy. Add 1 small piece of ginger. Stir and add 1 lb or 1 kg of chicken. Turn heat to low and let cook for 45 minutes by checking it from time to time. If the chicken is a little tough then you can add 1/4 cup of water, 1 tsp of either lemon or lime juice and let it cook for another 15 minutes.
Enjoy this on either plain basmati rice, millet, sorghum or even naan with some yogurt on the side. Also if you wish to enjoy this with a glass of lassi.
