Aloo Green Beans Subsi

Actually this is great as a side dish to go with kababs for us omnivoures and meat eaters or as a main dish for vegetarians and vegans. Also if you wish you can enjoy it with either veggie sausage or veggie burger too. Beyond meat is very delicious and also soy free. You can find them in a lot of stores and it is something like health conscience people in general that made this go mainstream instead just at health food stores. At one time they were considered as a specialty item.
Add 1 pinch each of coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, funugreek seeds and fennel seeds in a mortar and pestle and grind them to a coarse powder and set this aside. Add 1/4 cup of either olive oil, corn oil or peanut oil to a coldero on high heat. This is a no onion, garlic and ginger recipe. Add 1 pinch each of hing, paprika, pink salt, red chili powder, the contents of the mortar and pestle, either add 1 pinch of turmeric powder or add 1 small piece of turmeric root in the mortar and pestle after you wash it and grind it and add and stir.
Add 1 bag of frozen green beans or fresh that has had the strings removed washed and cut in four different segments. Obviously frozen green beans are very easy and no fuss way of cooking. Next best thing to fresh in my opinion. My opa Jacobe never used veggies from a can ever. Take 2 potatoes and scrub and dice them and add to the pot. Lower the heat and add 2 pinches of desiccated coconut and 1 pinch of cilantro. Add 1/4 cup of water and let cook on low heat covered for 20 minutes. Serve this with vegan yogurt for vegans and vegetarians. If you are a lacto vegetarian then you can consume Desi yogurt.
