Club Sandwiches

I have a beauty blogger friend who is a wonderful woman. I was in her dm in Instagram a few days ago and I told her I made club sandwiches and OMG she too is a huge fan of them like Mr. Riaz and I are.
I want to apologied that I have not been blogging on the regular because I have been dealing with my dad’s death. It still is very difficult to deal with at times. This is why have been in therapy. However I have to look for another therapist who works for a company that will handle my insurance. I am feeling better now that I can deal with this problem. I do miss him a lot.
All I know that I really did bust my ass and I have done my work. Obviously my therapist is a foodie too. Also I am on my Dell laptop today, yay for me. I am proud of myself because this means I still am recovering from the catastrophic loss I had suffered. It is also the trauma of my childhood and other things too. I do not want anyone to think I had forgotten y’all at all. I am still open to more suggestions. I even bought a creme brulee torchch.
Now club sandwiches are easy to make and they can be made in different ways. You will need your condiments like mustard and mayonnaise, 1 to 2 tomatoes, preferably beefsteak tomatoes, 1 onion and 1 head of lettuce. This doesn’t matter which kind it is, just as long as it is not romaine. Romaine lettuce to me is just plain yucky. You can use egg salad, chicken salad, turkey salad, fish salad, 1 package of zabiha halal coldcuts, 1 packet of sliced cheese. You may not need the whole packets of coldcuts and cheese. Also you will need 1 box of these fancy sticks they use for cocktails which are used for club sandwiches too. Also you will need at least 8 slices of bread. You may need a little more depending on how many people you will have to feed. This is great party food.
Now I will do chicken and turkey salad in the future then I will post it here. The ones I h,ave that I had suggested I will post the links right here,> A Very Grown Up Egg Salad, Tuna Salad, Zabiha Halal Beef Or Turkey BLT Also With Veggie Bacon, < look here for the recipes please.
Toast 4 slices of bread and leave 4 slices untoasted. The only one you do not add onion too is the blt Just cut this in 4 equal quadrants as the others. The lunchmeat and cheese I can see because they need to have lettuce, onion and tomato on it as well as dill pickles and or giardiniera on all except the blt. All you have to do is to cut them on the angle and cut those triangles in half or cut them in half the other way by cutting vertically and then horrizontally to make squares and put the sticks in to hold these together.
Vegans and vegetarians can use Morningstar Farms stribbles. Also you guys can use vegan mayonnaise and there are meatless coldcuts called Tofurkey. I highly sugglest also Dayia brand vegan cheese. It is the bomb and it is totally soy free. the Tofurkey is not soy free and this is for people who have a soy allergy. Vegan mayonnaise I think is perfect for people also with an egg allergy. However it has aquafaba which is from chickpeas. I just googled it. Please google it and or pick up the jar of it at the store and read the label before placing it in your cart.
There are differnt types of club sandwiches. Whichever you are craving at that moment, just be sure to make the one you are craving. Enjoy with a soup and or salad.
