My Different Cooking Styles

This is an introduction so whoever is reading my blog can keep coming back.
I am going to post some recipes and pics of the ones I collected and some personal. My ethnic background is German I am married to a Pakistani.
I grew up cooking German dishes I learned later how to cook soul food or shall I say southern cooking from USA. It is either veg or non veg. I don’t like eating meat all of the time. I try to eat properly and I don’t eat white sugar. When I met my husband, I learned how to make Pakistani and Indian food. Then I came across the internet where I started to collect recipes and started making my own masalas (spice mixes). From friends I have learned about other cuisines. Arabic, Chinese, Thai, Turkish, African, Japanese and Greek I learned all of these are simple going to various sites to collect the many recipes I had pinned in Pinterest oops I also forgot Mexican and Puerto Rican dishes too. Because of the net we can taste yummy food from different countries without getting a plain ticket. Even Jamaican food is great too I even ate a jackfruit which to me tastes like a custard.
Sincerely , Benazir

You sound like a younger version of myself in 90% of your profile. Also down to the fact I married a Pakistani 48 years ago 😀 Love to cook and eat all the same foods you mentioned in particular Turkish, South Asian, Middle Eastern etc.
