Hello I want to tell you how to dehydrate chillies I have done it in my instant pot duo crisp on dehydrate setting at max amont of time for between 5 to 7 hours. The max amount of time is for 145F.
You can alo press where it says temp to change it to degree centigrade also called celsius and back to fahrenheit. I got the instant pot duo crisp because it does everything and it is a wonderful space saver. First I washed and i slit the chillies so it can dry faster and bigger chilies like a jalepeño I cut in to 4 segments and arranged on. a food dehydrater rack with liners made for this item which I bought them both from Amazon. The instant pot duo crisp is a birthday gift from Mr. Riaz since last year.
My birthday is the 23rd of August 1963.
Store in Zip bags in the freezer like you do fresh chilies. This will not take up a lot of space and use just like a regular fresh chili in your curries or other dishes where you want quite a bit of heat. Enjoy.
