Baby Corn Pulao

Oh my God it looks like WordPress has gone through another update in its servers. The crazy thing is it is only bloggers like me may notice this. Ok I am not bugging at all and nor am I illin’. Pardon me the street slang from here in USA had popped in. LOL, sorry I just can’t help myself at times and at times I clown around but not to an excess and it is only with certian people that get to see this side of me. Otherwise I am a very serious person and very rarely crack a joke and this is excatly how I am.
This is an old post begging me to tell its story like others I had talked about and there are over 40 of these drafts here for me to write about. Ok to get you started make Garam Masala and set this aside. On high heat in a coldero add 1/4 cup of either avocado oil. corn oil, canola oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil or peanut oil. Let the oil get hot then add either 1 onion or shallot and fry until they are brown. Add 2 cloves of garlic chopped. Stir and then add the garam masala that is already made in the mortar and pestle. Cut 1 small piece of turmeric off the turmeric root. This is a potent spice so be careful with it. Crush this in a mortar and pestle and add this to the onion mix and stir. If you do not want to use turmeric root then add 1 pinch of turmeric powder instead.
Mince 1 small piece of ginger then add to the pot as well, Add 1 pinch of red chili powdder, 1 green chili chopped. Add either 2 pinches of bullion powder or 1 bullion cube, 3 dashes of maggi or knorr aroma, 2 aloo bukhara and 1 tomato. Let the tomato cook until it is mushy then add 1 can of baby corn that has been rinsed and drained several times. Add 1 cup of either white or brown basmati rice that has been rinsed until the water turns clear and 3 1/2 cups of water. Just make sure the water is just over the rice and then let it remain on high heat until it starts to boil rapidly. After it has been brought to a boil cover and reduce heat and let cook for 20 minutes. Make sure the rice has absorbed the water. If just a tiny bit remaining at the end of cooking time that is ok too because the setting the rice on dum for 20 minutes will soak up the rest of the water in the rice. Enjoy this with yogurt achar of choice and lassi.
