Arabic Beef Burger Rice

This is very funny. First of all I was very hungry and I had a plastic baggie in the fridge that had halal beef burger patties. I just wanted a couple of burgers and I could not pull them apart because they were frozen solid. I was very hungry and I really didn’t feel like waiting. Then after I made this dish and ate, I got finished eating I looked at my instagram and I seen the Nigerian lazy chef’s post who said she was in a similar situation.
Lmao, I told her on her post I was in the similar situation and when I am finished I am going to post this on Facebook to the So You Think You Can Cook Group.
I hope everyone loves this recipe and I think I am going to post to BBQ Secrets group too.
Ok I took the 4 frozen burgers and cooked them and instead of doing what I wanted it ended up crumbling and talking about utter desperation that at the long run I made lemonade out of lemons and I am proud of myself.
I added 1 tbs of grapeseed oil. Olive oil and vegetable oils can be used too. I added baharat or bokharat seasoning which is the same type I made for the fish. I added 1 cubinelle pepper, 4 to 6 artichoke hearts, 2 preserved lemons which I have made myself.
I stirred to mix and added 1 pinch of red chili powder, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 bullion cube, 3 dashes of maggi or knorr aroma, mixed once more put burner on low and went to take 8 handfuls of basmati rice and washed until the water turned clear and added it to the beef and artichokes.
I added 1 quart or 1 liter of water mixed again and added 2 cups of more water, 1 tbs of tomato paste, and let it come to a boil. I wrapped the lid of my pot in foil or banana leaf and covered the pot and let it cook for 20 minutes on low. I turned off the burner stirred and checked the rice and let it sit for 20 more minutes so the rice can catch all of this wonderful steam and flavor.
Top with tahini and yogurt (optional). P.S. If you can’t find frozen zabhiha halal beef patties for this recipe, you can add 1 lb or 1 kg of mince if you wish which would serve the same purpose. Beef, lamb, goat, chicken, veal or even turkey mince is just fine too.
