Hey folks this is an easy recipe and it is almost like ladede if you remember this. Mr. Riaz told me about this dish too so I am going to share it with you. When I made it after he told me about it he told me that’s it.

Just like ladede. dum pukht, and Peshawari gosht there isn’t any masala. Please do not get these dishes mixed up. They are posted already here on this very blog. Take 1 oz of either olive oil, corn oil, canola oil or vegetable oil and add it to the inner lining of the instant pot.

Add 1 lb of either chicken, lamb or goat that has been washed. Add 1 chopped green bell pepper only. Chop 1 red tomato only. Make sure it is just green only. Add 1 pinch of pink salt, stir and add 2 cups of water. Cover and pressure cook on high for 20 minutes. If you are using lamb or goat and it is a little tough then repeat for another 20 and let the pressure escape by putting a steam diverter on it. Tap quick release button or slow cook on high for 3 hours.

Serve with roti and a dollop of plain yogurt on top. Just like the ladede it is also an Afridi dish Afridis are a Pathan or Pashtun tribe. There are Afridis, Momand and Khattack people in my family as well as Peshawaris which are the origingal inhabitants of Peshawar, Pakistan.
